What is Dao Yin? The set of movements you will learn are a modern form of Chi Kung developed by Professor Zhang Guang of the People’s Republic of China. The movements are designed to help you to be in a state of harmony, balance and calmness. What will I learn? You will be learning a set of eight movements designed for improving general fitness. You will find the moves easy to learn and remember because each move is repeated several times. What will happen in each class? We will start with some gentle warm-ups which will encourage rotation of joints and development of greater flexibility. I will then revise the previous movements before teaching a new move in the Dao Yin form. We will finish with some light stretches. |
